Continuous Press (BNP)

The continuous press type BPN is designed to press the joints of cloth and paper narrow belts. The BPN is indicated for converters with medium-low productions.

Technical Data

• Jointing and pressing in one operation
• Actual pressure on abrasive is about 1.2 daN/mm² (comparable to a conventional roller press or to a standard beam press)
• The abrasive belt is aligned and pressed through a transport belt (standard belt with low purchase cost) which is pressing on the grain side and ensures the good quality of the pressing process; machine allows a fast belt change
• Maximum joint length 450 mm
• Minimum belt length 280 mm with a 90° joint
• The lower pressing bar is provided with a vacuum system for an easier jointing operation, and is heated up to 80° C with thermoregulator
