Belt-Based Lab Maker
The Lab Maker is a system to realize a belt of coated abrasives. It has been developed to recreate the same environment of a real production line (Maker). Made of all the necessary units to perform a complete coated abrasive production process, the Lab Maker includes: Make Coater, HV Electro Strewing System, Gravity Grain Strewing, Size Coater.
The system is compact and can easily fit inside a lab. An oven to cure the product obtained from the lab maker is necessary.

Make Coater
- Based on Mayer bars.
- Easily changeable bars to obtain different coating weights.
- Bar controlled by pneumatic cylinder with adjustable pressure.
Electro Grain Strewing System
- Grain hopper, with motorized rotating shaft, with adjustable speed, with accurate adjustable opening for grain quantity control.
- A manual handle adjust the grain hopper gap, for grain quantity setup.
- Horizontal electro strewing unit, based on motorized conveyor, with adjustable speed.
- Idle steel shaft acting as ground surface with adjustable distance to the HV electrostatic conveyor.
- Set of electrodes of different sizes to obtain different HV Electrostatic fields.
- DC high-voltage generator with adjustable voltage.
Gravity Grain Strewing System
- Grain hopper, with motorized rotating shaft, with adjustable speed, with accurate adjustable opening for grain quantity control.
- A manual handle adjust the grain hopper gap, for grain quantity setup.
Size Coater
- Based on 2 shafts gluer, bottom rubber shaft controlled by pneumatic cylinder.
- Pneumatic cylinder pressure is adjustable.
- Rubber shaft available with different hardenesses.
- Easily removable shaft and resin basin.
